Doctors no longer able to countersign passports on behalf of patients
Posted on 3 Oct 2019
The Home Office have recently changed the guidelines with regards to Doctors countersigning passports and they are no longer authorised to do this on behalf of their patients, therefore we will not be able to accept any future requests for GPs to countersign any passport applications.
Please visit the the gov.uk website for further information on the recognised professions of people who can offer a countersignature.
